Taegen is 18 months and I'm afraid already in his terrible twos!! He is very independent and knows exactly what he wants, so if he doesn't get it he will let you know how he feels. He is very sweet and kind though, and I really don't have anything to compare him to so maybe I have a golden child and just don't know it. Lately he has been very fascinated with wearing my clothes, shoes and/or carrying my purses. Weird since he prefers mine over Jared's, but I'm guessing its either because there smaller or I'm messier so there easier to get to. I am flying to Utah/Idaho for 2 weeks this month to give Jared some alone time to really hit the books. Everyone is excited for the trip-except those poor folks who have to share a plane with Taegen. We are hopefully going to be buying the house we are in now, except that it is very old and will need a loooooot of improvments, but we love the neighborhood and its close to Jared's school and we have a lot of friends close by. Plus we can sort of fix it up how we want to(if all goes as planned). Its a very scary thing purchasing something so expensive though, so I am hopeing everything will go smooth.

Cool Dude!!

So it has been forever since I have posted anything, you can call it lazy. Anyway here is Taegen, now almost 18 months and he is getting so big. I think he is very excited for spring, he woke up from his nap and was eating lunch and as soon as I told him we were going to go on a walk he would not finish his food. He went right over to the door and whined till I let him out. Does anybody else notice the similarities between toddlers and pets? Other big news for us is Jared has been accepted into the MD/PhD program, meaning we will be here an additional 3 years! That is 7 years total in Philadelphia, YIKES!!! But we are very excited for all of the great experiences that await us.

There nothing else in the world like a dad! Taegen has been going through this stage where all he wants is his dad!! If Jared is home, Taegen is going to find him and make himself a permanent attachment. I find it very very cute and I know Jared LOVES it. Plus I find myself getting a little bit of free time! Yea!

Ok, so we have been working with Taegen for a while now to be brave enough to ride this very scary horse. Slowly we have made progress and as you can see through the pictures these are all the stages we have had to go through. Now he is totally getting into it like he is a pro...but only on a good day! Isn't this the cutest horse.

Taegen has figured out that eating olives can be very fun! He is now 16 months and full of life and oh so much energy.
