Our First Home!!!

So we took the plunge and bought a house! This is very scary, and stressful, but exciting!! We are going to remodel a couple of rooms including the kitchen and bathroom. We had a guy all lined up to start, but he ended up being a big jerk, so needless to say we are serching for a new guy. We might not get started as soon as we wanted to but hopefully the process will go smoother. Here are all the people we closed with except for the title lady, who is taking the picture. Mary Ann Brady(seller), Liz(my life saver who works for the attorney), Jared, Taegen, me and Marti(attorney). I will post some pics of the house a little bit later.

OUCH!!

So Taegen and I were in the kitchen two days ago while I was cooking dinner, and all of a sudden he started to cry. I pretty much ignored him since I didn't here any loud noises or see anything happen. Well.... I was wrong!! Thats right, his toe started bleeding and turned black immediately. The poor thing has been limping and hasn't worn a shoe for 2 days now, and I still don't know how it happened.

Moving sucks!!

Well it is finally official, my sister and her family have finally moved to Colorado. Jamie has been going back and forth for a couple of months, but about a week ago the rest of the fam moved out too. I already miss them so much. Even though I didn't live by them anyway, it was nice to know that when I came to visit, they would be here. We got together with the kids for one last hoorah before they had to go, and we had a blast! I think Taegen will miss his cousins very much.

Taegen is 18 months and I'm afraid already in his terrible twos!! He is very independent and knows exactly what he wants, so if he doesn't get it he will let you know how he feels. He is very sweet and kind though, and I really don't have anything to compare him to so maybe I have a golden child and just don't know it. Lately he has been very fascinated with wearing my clothes, shoes and/or carrying my purses. Weird since he prefers mine over Jared's, but I'm guessing its either because there smaller or I'm messier so there easier to get to. I am flying to Utah/Idaho for 2 weeks this month to give Jared some alone time to really hit the books. Everyone is excited for the trip-except those poor folks who have to share a plane with Taegen. We are hopefully going to be buying the house we are in now, except that it is very old and will need a loooooot of improvments, but we love the neighborhood and its close to Jared's school and we have a lot of friends close by. Plus we can sort of fix it up how we want to(if all goes as planned). Its a very scary thing purchasing something so expensive though, so I am hopeing everything will go smooth.
