So it has been a while since I have posted any pictures, I feel like I have been busy, but it is probably more like lazy. Nothing new is going on in our lives, Jared is still in his internal medicine rotation and loves it. He has 5 weeks left of it and then he will move on to OBGYN-lucky kid!

Don't let these pictures fool you, Taegen is not being potty trained. I just thought that the more he gets comfortable and the more he is wanting to sit on the potty the easier it will be when that time comes. He definately looks comfy though, don't you think?
What a cute kid, he will be a heart breaker when he gets older. He is such a boy and is getting really smart. I can't believe he will be 2 next month, where does the time go?

- I am pretty handy with tools, I am in the middle of building some shelves.
- My friend and I got in a fight with 2 ladies at the pool today, and it got pretty heated! (we won)
- I always squat on public toilets, I will never sit down even if there is a protective cover, I hate
public toilets!!!

Fun in the tub!

My niece Kaislyn spent the day with us on saturday, she came very early in the morning and had not had a chance to bath the night before so I volunteered to give her one myself. After we were done soaping up she wanted to stay and play for a while so I started to get ready for the day. As I was brushing my teeth I looked in the mirror to see Taegen's feet in the air as he was nose diving into the tub. I guess he thought he wanted to join in on the fun. And I just coudn't resist taking this shot of their cute little tushies!

Pueblo, Colorado

So on Wednesday, I was able to go see my sister and her family with my mom and dad and of course, Taegen. My sister got a job at a Target distribution center and she and her family moved to Pueblo, Colorado a few months ago. I was so excited to get to go see them since she is my only sister and I already live far away. We had tons of fun and I wish I would have taken a few more pictures but these are the only ones I captured. Here are Taegen, Ethan, and Kyla at an amusement park where every ride is a quarter... can't beat that!!!
This was Taegen at the hotel after our day of swimming (I wish I had pictures). He had so much fun-if that is what you call a scardy cat in the water- swimming with all of his cousins. He was completely wiped out!!!

And of course being the gentleman that he is, he is always wanting to help in every way he can. After we got home on Sunday, Taegen had to help Grandpa with the luggage, and I am sure he really appreciated it!!
We had such a fun time and if my sister ever reads this, I just want to say thanks to her and Casey (her husband) for showing us such a good time.

Birthday Party

Taegen was invited to his first birthday party. A friend of his in his nursery class, Charlton, had his 2nd birthday at a really fun place called Little Sports. They have tons of activities in the form of every different kind of sports you can think, so of coarse Taegen was in love. He especially loved the soft play and even took a couple of dives off of the top.

Baseball is here again!!

Yea!! Baseball is back, and we love the Phillies! Grandpa Johnstun came into town to help us out on the house and just could not resist going to a couple of ball games. We had a blast and Taegen loved to watch the ball, but mostly he loved to flirt with all the people around us. He has got to be the cutest fan, don't you think?

Our First Home!!!

So we took the plunge and bought a house! This is very scary, and stressful, but exciting!! We are going to remodel a couple of rooms including the kitchen and bathroom. We had a guy all lined up to start, but he ended up being a big jerk, so needless to say we are serching for a new guy. We might not get started as soon as we wanted to but hopefully the process will go smoother. Here are all the people we closed with except for the title lady, who is taking the picture. Mary Ann Brady(seller), Liz(my life saver who works for the attorney), Jared, Taegen, me and Marti(attorney). I will post some pics of the house a little bit later.
